Did you know that your expectations and your child’s participation in community activities can affect their future employment opportunities? Join us to explore:

  • Having high expectations – why does it matter?
  • How responsibilities at home and extra-curricular activities can build skills and attitudes for future work
  • Myth-busting (Yes – many youth with disabilities work! Employers value diverse workforces.)
  • Programs and services that promote participation

Parents of youth under 12
