Time Commitment, Attendance, and Punctuality

  • 40 minutes by public transportation or;
  • 40 minutes driving time if the student will have ongoing access to a reliable private vehicle throughout their co-op placement.

We are often able to accommodate short term absences due to circumstances such as travel; however, it is the volunteer's responsibility to communicate any absences as far in advance as possible.

We ask that co-op teachers make contact with Volunteer Resources, 416-422-7033 or volunteers@hollandbloorview.ca to inquire about availability for the student's placement. For tracking purposes please provide the student's name and schedule.

If the co-op student meets the criteria given in the information sheet, please ask them to proceed to the application below.
