Post-Doctoral Fellows

The NOvEL Lab is looking for research associates with great ideas and a passion for science. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis; openings vary with current funding level. Candidates should consult the "Current Research" page to see if any of the ongoing projects are a good fit and align with your research interests.

Graduate Students

Dr. Scratch looks for students who have a clear match between the applicant and Dr. Scratch's program of research. The NOvEL lab studies a variety of topics, including interventions for youth with acquired brain injury and the neuropsychology of persistent concussion symptoms. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds, including Occupational Therapy, Engineering, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Psychology. Dr. Scratch accepts students through the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. Prospective students are encouraged to contact Dr. Scratch by email. Please provide a brief statement of your research interests in the email and attach a CV.

Research Assistants

The NOvEL Lab is always looking for passionate and motivated research assistants. Research assistants in the Lab will get the opportunity to interact with clients and families at Holland Bloorview through various research studies. Responsibilities will vary depending on the ongoing project. Many Research Assistants join the lab through the Ward Summer Student Research program. Open positions may also be available for undergraduate students for their honours thesis or for undergraduate/post-bacc volunteers.
