Effective Nov. 1, 2023, clients and families, visitors, vendors and staff are required to wear a mask while moving throughout the hospital, including while in elevators, in spaces where clients receive care or participate in research. A medical grade mask will be available upon entry.

Recreation Awareness

We offer an annual recreation, respite and life skills fair for clients caregivers and professionals to learn about recreation, respite and life skills programs across the GTA by talking to representatives from over 30 community programs. Find the right programs to fit you or your family member’s needs. Fair takes place every year in January see Holland Bloorview’s Facebook, emails and mail.

 

Youth Volunteer/Employment Programs

We provide opportunities for volunteer/employment and readiness for individuals. Entering the work force as a youth with a disability is exciting and can be challenging. We support teens and young adults to participate in these experiences to build skills, confidence and connections. First step is submitting a self-referral.

 

Youth Engagement

Youth Leadership opportunities for current and former clients of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Opportunities to get involved for 14-29 year olds include Youth Mentorship, and Youth Advisory Council, Youth Leaders, Youth Facilitators.
