The Holland Bloorview Research Ethics Board has adopted a national set of REB Standard Operating Procedures called the N2/CAREB REB SOPs.
These SOPs have been developed by the Network of Networks (N2) and the Canadian Association of Research Ethics Boards (CAREB) fully compliant with applicable Canadian and US regulations.
Some internal practice requirements differ slightly from those described in the N2/CAREB SOPs. As such, SOP addendums that describe the specific HB REB requirements related to applicable N2/CAREB SOP have been created. The SOP addendums also specify the required REB reporting timelines.
These SOP addendums are to be used in tandem with the N2/CAREB SOPs to ensure compliance.
