These guides provide guidance on how to embed the training in your organization and how to deliver it.
The Facilitator’s Guide supports organizations and staff that complete the IHTR training to move their learnings into practice within their own context by:
- providing recommendations and considerations for actions to take before and after the IHTR training is conducted; and
- outlining implementation resources that already exist to assist with change efforts, guiding the reader to the most helpful aspects of each resource.
With this information, we hope to help organizations set themselves up for success in implementing organizational change related to disability-inclusive employment practices, starting with the IHTR training. Access the Implementation Guide (PDF)

This editable presentation contains the slides and speaker’s notes for the IHTR training. We encourage organizations to add their own logos and examples throughout the presentation (.pptx).
The training was meant to be delivered as a whole. It takes an average of three hours to deliver.
We have linked video examples throughout the presentation. Additional content can be found in our video library, and linked back into the presentation (.pptx).
We recommend ending the presentation with a survey/evaluation, so that your organization can best understand the needs and motivations of your people leaders. You are welcome to use any template you like. We recommend using the evaluation template. (.docx).
You may wish to send a certificate of completion (PDF) to staff for their records.
To support facilitation of the IHTR training, we recommend providing 3 handouts during the training for learners to use. These handouts align with the learning objectives of the training.
