Kids Helping Kids: The Kid2Kid Advice Project

A video series offering guidance and advice for kids, by kids.

The Kid2Kid Advice video project enabled the Kid Creators (Holland Bloorview clients and siblings) to share their experiences of navigating growing up with a disability and being a sibling of kid growing up with a disability. The videos cover topics chosen by each Kid Creator, from making friends to the importance of helping out at home!

“Maybe my videos can help somebody just feel connected and feel like somebody understands them, just like they did for me. It might have a different effect on a lot of people, but (…) knowing that [the videos] will do something that helps them out really means a lot, because you can have good advice, but it's no good if you don't share it.” - Zach, Kid Creator

About the Project Team

The project team included 10 Kid Creators, a Youth Leader, as well as staff and two students.
