Art Program Visits
Art Program Visits are for new applicants who have yet to participate in a Holland Bloorview Music & Arts art program.
New applicants to the arts programs will be scheduled for an Art Program Visit before being confirmed in a spot.
All new applicants will be:
- scheduled to come in for a visit
- meet with the team and
- see the program space
It’s an opportunity for you:
- to have an overview of the program
- to ensure that the team can meet your child’s needs and
- to collaborate on how to create the best possible program experience for your child
Programs
Spring Season: April 15 – June 24 (10 weeks) (make-up sessions scheduled June 27-July 1, as needed) Note: There are no sessions February 18th(Family Day), March 11-18th(March Break), or May 20-22nd (Victoria Day Weekend) |
ArtsXpress
Interact and play with your peers through music, visual arts, drama, stories and sensory activities
Saturdays: 10:30am-12:00pm
Ages: 4-12
Spring Cost: $280 (10 weeks) SESSION FILLED, waitlist available
Paint and Clay
Two greats together: ceramics (clay) and painting! Artists offer ceramics and painting to the participants in a dynamic environment encouraging individual creativity, imagination and group projects.
Saturdays 1:00-2:30pm for ages 6-12
Saturdays 3:30-5:00pm for ages 13-18
Spring Cost: $280 (10 weeks) PAINT AND CLAY 1 FILLED, waitlist available
Drum Circle
Come together in a circle of rhythm, rhymes, beats and folly. Participants will have the opportunity to play with a range of percussive instruments. The program takes place in the studio or outside, weather permitting.
Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm
Ages: 13-18
Spring cost: $280 (10 weeks) SESSION FILLED, waitlist available
Kindler Project
A collaboration with the University of Toronto Medical School playfully connecting youth and young adults, medical students and Spiral Garden staff and in art, music and community making. An end of session celebration marks all we’ve created together.
Ages: 17-21
Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:00 pm
Winter ONLY: Tuesdays, January 17-March 7 (8 sessions) SESSION FILLED, waitlist available
