Mr. Sugar recently retired as a Managing Director, Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, where he worked since 1979. He specialized in the mining sector, particularly in equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services for a wide range of Canadian and international mining companies. Fanny received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics and Electronics Engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology.
She joined the PRISM Lab in 2010 after an internship with Dr. Elaine Biddiss and is now responsible for designing assistive technology solutions for children with disabilities.
Fanny enjoys reading, watching movies and eating delicious French food. She is also an enthusiastic soccer and curling player.

Ka Lun received his B.A.Sc. in the Engineering Science program (Biomedical Option), and has an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, both from University of Toronto. He has been a part of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital since 1995, when he started as a summer student. He worked briefly as a software developer in the IT field before starting full time at Bloorview in 1999.

Leslie joined the PRISM Lab at Holland Bloorview in 2009 as a Master’s student, and in 2011 became a full-time staff member. Leslie’s background is in Biological and Clinical Engineering.

Pierre received his B.A.Sc. in engineering science (computer option) and his M.A.Sc in industrial engineering (human factors), both from the University of Toronto. He has worked in IT, government, and telecommunications industries.

Siva received her Bachelor of Arts with a joint major in Criminology and Psychology from Simon Fraser University. She joined the PRISM Lab in 2010, and brought with her several years of administrative experience and extensive exposure to the field of paediatric disability.
