Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health issued guidance on June 8 that mask mandates in hospitals will end on June 11.

At Holland Bloorview, the requirement to wear a mask in the hospital for all members of the team, clients and families will not be changing for the foreseeable future.

We care for some of the province’s most vulnerable and medically-fragile children—many of whom are not yet eligible for vaccines—and their safety is our utmost priority.

Over the next weeks, we will be reviewing any additional guidance that may be issued and will determine what changes, if any, need to be made at Holland Bloorview.
