BRI Clinician Scientist Dr. Nick Reedis the 2015 Dr. Tom Pashby Sports Safety Fund Award recipient, awarded to a Canadian for their outstanding contribution towards the prevention of catastrophic injuries in sports and recreational activities.

On Sunday, November 22, Dr. Reed received his award in front of past award winners and dignitaries, family and BRI/Concussion Centre staff. This award is accompanied by a $10,000 cheque and recognition in Canada's Sport Hall of Fame in Calgary, Alberta.

According to Dr. Tom Chau, "He has a passion for concussion research that, for him, has become a life mission. He is amazing and very innovation... a pioneer blazing in concussion education and awareness."
