CTV National News consulted Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou, autism expert and co-lead of the Autism Research Centre at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, on new autism prevalence numbers released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Dr. Anagnostou, a neurologist and international autism expert, studies the biology and the brain differences of children with autism spectrum disorder and translate those findings into treatments and therapies. Her research includes brain imaging, genetics and new drug applications to help children with autism manage symptoms.
