Bronze Cross Course
This course begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
National Lifeguard Recert Course
The National Lifeguard recertification course is offered to candidates who are in need of recertifying their award to continue working as a lifeguard. The exam will consist of physical standards, a short review and lifeguard situations.
Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course
We are not offering this course at this time
In the Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor course candidates will learn to teach and evaluate basic swim strokes, and will acquire proven teaching methods including a variety of stroke development drills and correction techniques. Swim Instructors are certified to teach and evaluate all levels of lifesaving swim program: Parent & Tot, Preschool, Swimmer, and Adult Swimmer.
