Genevieve (“Evie”) Begy is a graduate of the London School of Economics with a BSc in Managerial Economics and Strategy and an MSc with Distinction in International Management. Evie joined The Kit, Torstar’s multi-platform beauty & fashion media brand, in 2014, where she has worked in a variety of roles to devise and implement the marketing mix for the portfolio. In her current role as Collab Director, Evie leads the team’s in-house integrated marketing and sales agency to develop innovative client media solutions within the vertical. Evie is a published academic author, nominated by the Marketing Research Society for the Silver Medal Award Paper of the Year in 2017 for her piece on product placement in prime-time television. Evie is involved in educationally focused community programs, and is thrilled to join the Catalyst Council to help spread awareness of Holland Bloorview’s outstanding work and facilities.
