Mahwish received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor in 2021 along with a math minor. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in the Centre for Hybrid Automotive Research and Green Energy (CHARGE) Lab on electric vehicle motor controllers and in the electrical Micro & Nano Devices and Sensors (e-MINDS) Research Lab where she helped develop a greenhouse gas sensing system. She worked as an ASIC Verification Engineer at Ciena for 2 years, but her personal interest in neuroscience and the human brain prompted her to return to school to pursue an MASc in Biomedical Engineering. She is excited for the journey ahead in PRISM Lab.
