Dr. Ellegood is interested in understanding of heterogeneity across and within individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders in order to implement a precision medicine approach and inform personalized solutions. Specifically, his work focuses on using structural and funtioncal MRI imaging techniques to understand how the brain develops regardless of diagnosis in an effort to subcategorize psychological disorders.

Research Focus:
Dr. Ross explores experiences of disability and ways to advance more accessible, inclusive, and diverse communities. Four key research topics that he engages are: (1) education access, (2) transportation and mobility, (3) inclusive play, and (4) institutional ableism. Questions about ableism and its normalcy within the planning and design of our built environments, services, and systems are central to Dr. Ross’ research.

Dr. Chau and his PRISM lab have focused on access innovations in recent years. Access innovations include the discovery, design, and evaluation of novel pathways by which children and youth can communicate or interact with their environment in the absence of functional speech and gestures.

Dr. Wright is a registered physiotherapist and senior scientist in BRI and Professor (status) in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences Institute, University of Toronto. She has a PhD in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
