Dr. Shannon Knights received her Doctor of Medicine from Queen’s University and completed her postgraduate medical education at the University of Toronto, including subspecialty training in Developmental Paediatrics. Dr. Knights works as a Developmental Paediatrician at Grandview Children’s Centre. Her clinical practice involves caring for children with a range of neurodevelopmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, and cerebral palsy.
Dr. Rhandi Christensen is a Staff Pediatric Neurologist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto. She completed medical school at the University of Toronto. She then completed Pediatric Neurology Residency and a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Neonatal Neurology at the University of Toronto and SickKids. Prior to her medical training, she completed a PhD in Neuroscience at McMaster University. Dr.
Anita Jethwa is a Developmental Paediatrician who works with the Children’s Treatment Network – York Region. She attended medical school at the University of Toronto, completed her Paediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children and then carried out her Developmental Paediatrics specialty at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Carolyn Hunt has been a Developmental Paediatrician for over 20 years. She completed medical training at McMaster and Western and then a fellowship in Developmental Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. She started her career at HBKR and then moved to Grandview Children’s Centre in the heart of Durham Region where she has been the Medical Director since 2008.
Dr. Shawn has been practicing since July 1981 to present. Dr. Shawn is on Staff at The Hospital for Sick Children (HSC), an Assistant Professor at U of T, and a member of the Division of Community Developmental Paediatrics (Courtesy), and Honorary Staff for Paediatric Medicine.
Dr. Shawn’s area of clinical interest is Developmental and Behavioral Paediatrics.
Dr. Jennifer Das completed her undergraduate degrees in both Biology and Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University and her medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She returned home to Canada for her Paediatrics training through the University of Toronto at The Hospital for Sick Children and went on to complete her developmental Paediatrics fellowship at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
