Based in Toronto, Laura is Managing Director, Head of OMERS Ventures, leading the fund’s investment activity in Canada. Laura has over 15 years of venture investing experience, including prior roles as a Partner with Generation Ventures, an Investment Director with MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund, and a Principal with EdgeStone Capital Partners.
Laura sits on the board of the following Portfolio Companies: BOLD, Hopper, OneVest, Solink, Touch Bistro, and Wrk.
Jane Gavan is a corporate director with over thirty-five years of progressive experience in the real estate industry. Until her retirement at the end of 2025, she held several leadership positions within the Dream group of companies, which companies operate in the real estate and investments verticals in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. In her career, she has been integrally involved in mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, capital markets and investor relations.
Prior to becoming Chief Information Officer, Justin served as Managing Director and Head of Public Equities. He previously led the Global Equity Research effort at the firm and was previously the Lead Manager of the North American Blue-Chip Model. Additionally, he assumed lead coverage for Global Technology, Media, Telecommunications, Industrials, and the Canadian Banks as an Analyst at the firm.
