Rob Sainsbury is Managing Director & Head of Telecommunications, Media, Technology and Health Care, Investment Banking, for Scotiabank. Rob works with Canadian and international companies on equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and related advisory mandates. Rob is a former member of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation Leadership Committee and its President’s Council. Rob joined the Board of Directors of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation in 2015.
Mr. Sugar recently retired as a Managing Director, Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, where he worked since 1979. He specialized in the mining sector, particularly in equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions and other advisory services for a wide range of Canadian and international mining companies. Fanny received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics and Electronics Engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology.
She joined the PRISM Lab in 2010 after an internship with Dr. Elaine Biddiss and is now responsible for designing assistive technology solutions for children with disabilities.
Fanny enjoys reading, watching movies and eating delicious French food. She is also an enthusiastic soccer and curling player.
