As a teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, Holland Bloorview is fortunate to work with some of the world’s leading clinicians in childhood disability. We are very proud to announce that a number of our staff from the Developmental Paediatrics Division have been recognized for outstanding leadership in research, education and training by the university.

• Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou, has been promoted to Full Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Anagnostou was also recently one of the 346 new and renewed Canada Research Chairs at 52 institutions across Canada for research excellence.
• Dr. Anne Kawamura has been named Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine. The faculty also recognized Dr. Kawamura for her excellence in teaching and her significant contributions to education scholarship.
• Dr. Amber Makino received the 2018-2019 Division of Developmental Paediatrics Faculty Teaching Award.  Dr. Makino was nominated by residents for her excellence in teaching.
