Paralympic hopeful and Holland Bloorview client Marcus Chambers, 15, was three years old when he was diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis, which resulted in serious, and sudden, onset of weakness in his left leg. During a three-month inpatient stay at the hospital, Marcus was introduced to sledge hockey, setting in motion his dreams to go for gold at the Winter Paralympic Games in 2030.
