Holland Bloorview’s Family Support Fund (FSF) has transitioned to a new, digital application submission process, effective April 1, 2023. All applications for Family Support Fund will be submitted online only.

The new digital application process will allow for significant improvements and benefits including:

• More accurate capture of information
• Reduced wait times
• Ability to receive updates through email
• No need to print, use postages or deliver paper copies
• Allows access to documents even after submissions have been completed
• Potential to explore the possibility of translating the form into different languages.

The system is accessible and easy to use and anyone anywhere with internet connection can access it,” says Adva Budin-Mercer, client and family funding coordinator. “The new system has more potential to improve client and family experience. We are excited and looking forward to a smooth transition to this new system.”

Holland Bloorview’s Family Support Fund offers financial support to clients and families during times of transition or stress. Through the fund, clients and families may be provided with financial compensation for equipment, medication, recreational activities and respite services during their care journey.
