Of note, “in Numbers” read a research letter in JAMA Internal Medicine that found Americans with autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome were 38% less likely to receive a kidney transplant for end-stage disease than nondisabled peers, despite anti-discrimination laws in 40 states.
