Each year more than 250 of Toronto’s prominent business and community leaders attend An Evening of Possibility in support of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation. Guests enjoy an unparalleled evening of culinary delights prepared by some of Toronto’s top chefs. Our child and family ambassadors take centre stage, putting a spotlight on their talents and sharing how their lives have been impacted by Holland Bloorview.

Marita received her Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in biomechanical engineering, from Queen’s University in 2022. During the summer of 2021 she worked under Dr. Claire Davies in the Building and Designing Assistive Technology (BDAT) Lab as a Research Assistant. In this position she worked on designing devices catered towards client’s needs, specifically focused on rapid prototyping using 3D printing.
