Research Unlocked: Inspiring Youth with Physical Disabilities to Stay Active

At Holland Bloorview, we know the value of knowledge - that's why we created ‘Research Unlocked: Research summaries for families.' An initiative focused on turning 11 of our research studies with complex and academically-written language into accessible and understandable formats, we hope to provide our clients and families the right tools to make their best informed decisions.

One of those research studies focused on youth with physical disabilities and the support and environments they need to stay active.

What were the results? We got a chance to talk to Elaine Biddiss and Amy McPherson, the scientists behind this study, about why this matters and what they learned.
