Dr. Anita Jethwa

Anita Jethwa, MD, FRCPC

Developmental Paediatrician

Anita Jethwa is a Developmental Paediatrician who works with the Children’s Treatment Network – York Region.  She attended medical school at the University of Toronto, completed her Paediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children and then carried out her Developmental Paediatrics specialty at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.   

Her current practice includes diagnostic assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorders until 18 years of age, developmental monitoring and pharmacologic management for neuromotor conditions and children with complex developmental needs.

She is involved in teaching of Developmental Paediatric residents. She is the first author on the paper Development of the Hypertonia Assessment Tool (HAT): a discriminative tool for hypertonia in children.
