Adam Hagarty, P.Eng, MBA, is a seasoned executive with a strong track record in operational leadership, digital transformation, and inclusive culture building. As Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Operations at RBC, Adam leads a national team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of operational support across Commercial Banking. His mandate spans credit fulfillment, client onboarding, loan servicing, and operational risk management—ensuring consistent, efficient, and client-centric service for businesses across Canada.

Previously, Adam held senior leadership roles within RBC Wealth Management, where he led operations, technology, and business enablement functions. He played a key role in modernizing the wealth platform, advancing digital capabilities, and enhancing the advisor and client experience across channels.

Adam holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng). His leadership is marked by a commitment to collaboration, inclusion, and operational excellence.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Adam is deeply committed to accessibility and inclusion. He serves as Co-Chair of REACH, RBC’s employee resource group for persons with disabilities, and sits on the Board of Track3 Adaptive Sports Association, which delivers adaptive ski and snowboard programs for children with disabilities.

Adam’s connection to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is both personal and purposeful—his son is a proud ambassador for the hospital. He is a long-time supporter of Capes for Kids, leading RBC teams in fundraising and awareness-building to support the hospital’s care, research, and advocacy efforts.

In the community, Adam also serves as a para ice hockey coach for the Junior Cruisers, where his son competes as an athlete. His involvement reflects a deep belief in the power of sport to build confidence, connection, and inclusion for kids of all abilities.

Adam lives in Etobicoke with his wife, daughter, and two sons. Outside of his professional and advocacy work, he enjoys traveling and golfing with his family.
