CEO, Cup of Té

Taylor Lindsay-Noel is a 31-year-old entrepreneur and influencer from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sixteen years ago, she was a Canadian national gymnast, but in 2008, under the coercion of her coach, she suffered a devastating accident that left her paralyzed for life from the neck down.

Since then, Taylor has turned her challenges into triumphs. She earned a BA in Radio and Television Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and has become a leading voice for disability and accessibility. Known as Access By Tay, she is a disability and accessibility influencer with over 250,000 followers across all platforms, inspiring audiences with her advocacy and content.

Taylor is also the owner of Cup of Té Luxury Loose Leaf Teas, which has been featured on Oprah’s Favorite Things List twice—first in 2020 and most recently in 2024.

After her accident, Taylor became a client at Holland Bloorview to aid in her recovery and healing. Since then, she has been a tireless advocate for children and youth with disabilities at the hospital. She volunteers her time to mentor young people with disabilities, sharing her own experiences to help them overcome challenges. In 2022, Taylor took on a leadership role by joining the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Her achievements have been recognized with the prestigious Young Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Black Business and Professional Association Harry Jerome Awards, celebrating Black excellence in Canada.
