Effectiveness and Implementation of the TeachABI Professional Development Module


Summary

The research team at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is investigating a new eLearning module for elementary school educators to teach them about students with brain injury. We are looking for schools who want to implement our training in their school as professional development!

Are you an administrator of an Ontario School? Participate in research involving educational resources developed to help teachers better support students with acquired brain injury!


Who can participate

We are inviting schools across Ontario to take part in the study. Educators at the school must speak/read English and have internet access.

What's involved

A school administrator will enroll their school in the study, agreeing to implement our eLearning module. We will meet with a school leader to plan how the module will be delivered. Finally, we will provide you with the eLearning module about acquired brain injury to use as professional development for your educators.

· This study requires two 1-hour interviews with a school leader to plan the delivery of the training.

· The training will take approximately 1 hour of educators’ time to complete, including questionnaires and reviewing the educational resources.
