Holland Bloorview welcomes new directors

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to its board of directors.  Please join us in welcoming them:

 

Alysha LadhaDr. Alysha Ladha is a developmental pediatrician in the brain injury rehabilitation program at Holland Bloorview. Dr. Ladha provides inpatient and outpatient care to children and youth with all forms of acquired brain injury, including concussion. She is also a lecturer at the Temerty School of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Read more


 

Heather WattHeather Watt is a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and served as the chief of staff to the Deputy Premier of Ontario, and Minister of Health, from 2018-2022. As chief of staff, Heather was the most senior advisor to the minister, responsible for the management of the ~$70 billion annual health care budget in the province of Ontario. Read more


 

Helen HaywardtHelen Hayward is an experienced director on international, federal, provincial and not-for-profit boards in health, justice and higher education sectors. Helen is also a partner emerita of a national management consulting firm and a former provincial government executive. Read more

Megh has over 15 years of experience in building, operating and investing in cutting-edge organizations across various industries, and currently spends his time at the intersection of health care and technology, serving on several boards of advanced health-tech companies. Sarah KramerSarah Kramer is a highly accomplished executive specializing in strategy, execution and operational excellence. She possesses deep experience and an unwavering commitment, both personally and professionally, to advancing children's rights, inclusive health care and social justice. Sarah has held prominent leadership roles at esteemed public and private organizations across Canada, the US, Asia and Africa, including Plan International, UCLA Health, Aga Khan University and Cancer Care Ontario.. The appointments were announced at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 21, 2023.

Meanwhile, Holland Bloorview would like to express profound gratitude to outgoing directors, Andrea Hoffman, Alice Keung and Catherine Wood. We are truly grateful for their commitment and contributions throughout their time on the board.

At the AGM, the Imagination, Innovation, Inclusion: Impact Report 2022-2023 was released. The report provides highlights and accomplishments from the past year and is available for sharing and download on our website.
