Holland Bloorview launches new program offerings focused on autism

As of summer 2019, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) will be offering new programs focused on autism. The new programs are designed to support children with autism and their parents and caregivers.

The programs are eligible through the new “Childhood Budgets” provided to families with children with an autism diagnosis by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services under the new Ontario Autism Programs announced in February 2019.

The program offerings range from system navigation to evidence based care. Some of the programs are free and others are fee based. A full listing the summer 2019 program is available online. The fall and winter programs will be announced in the coming weeks.
