Autism Research Centre Mission
At the Autism Research Centre, our mission is to improve outcomes and quality of life for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families through research.
To achieve this mission:
- We conduct innovative research to understand the biology and symptoms of autism, develop novel interventions for children and adults with autism, and investigate service delivery models.
- We engage in knowledge translation, including communication of research fundings to scientific colleagues, families, policy makers, and the public at large.
- We mentor trainees and young scientists to contribute to the development of next generations of researchers in the field.
