Science Club (Ages 6-14) Tuesdays: September 29th to November 17th , 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
This is a series of 8 one hour workshops to teach young students science concepts using hands on experiments. This series of workshops will introduce young students to science concepts. Students will engage in hands on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, and work on educational science-themed experiments that will reinforce concepts they have learned. Students will receive an eight week package with all the items required for each week’s lesson.
Junior Program (Ages 6-10) Wednesdays: September 30th to November 18th, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
This is a series of 8 one hour workshops to teach young students computer science concepts using an easy to learn programming platforms. This series of workshops will introduce young students to coding concepts. They will learn to use Scratch 2.0. Young students will be learning about their Scratch editor, stage area, sprites, blocks and palette and writing basic scripts. Students will be able to share their interactive media with other students in the classroom. Students will also spend some time learning coding concepts for the WeDo 2.0. They will continue to learn about science and engineering concepts and will code along side our teaching leads.
Intermediate Program (Ages 10-14) Thursdays:October 1st to November 19th, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Registration is completed using EventBrite. Once you register and complete the payment you will receive a confirmation and a call from our therapist to set up a goal setting interview.
Please note: 1:1 support is not provided. If a participant requires dedicated 1:1 support, the family will be asked to provide it. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your child needs additional support.
