Thesis: Creating and evaluating an audio detection interface to guide families in musical play and learning with low-cost musical instruments at home
Brandon is a MHSc candidate in the biomedical engineering department at the University of Toronto. Brandon began his journey at PEARL in the summer of 2019. Brandon’s expertise and interest are in signal processing and machine learning as he is developing algorithms and classification models for the development of a mixed-reality music education game. Previously, Brandon completed his undergrad in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at McMaster University.
Outside of his research, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports, exercising, watching an abundant amount of Netflix, and playing video games.
