Holland Bloorview receives Changemaker of the Year award

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (Holland Bloorview) is honoured to be named a recipient of the March of Dimes Community Changemaker of the Year Award. 

March of Dimes Canada’s Changemaker Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions made by individuals and organizations who have made a profound impact in the lives of people with disabilities. It recognises community organizations that partner with March of Dimes Canada and have demonstrated innovation and impact in expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in their communities.

“It is a great privilege and honour for Holland Bloorview to be selected for this prestigious award,” says Julia Hanigsberg, president and CEO. “We value our partnership and collaboration with March of Dimes Canada in our efforts to advocate for disability inclusion in communities.”

Holland Bloorview was recognised for its inclusion work including for leadership of programs such as Project SEARCH, a school-to-work transition program for youth with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
