Early Development in Infants at Risk of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD): Identifying Early Bio-Behavioural Markers

Characterizing Autism

The purpose of this study is to look at potential behavioural, and physiological markers of autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the first years of life; specifically in younger siblings of children with ASD, to find out whether early signs of ASD can be observed in these ‘higher-risk’ infants. We hope to learn more about whether these characteristics predict which infants are at highest risk of autism and/or related developmental delays.
