A case study of the usability and usefulness of a fabric based communication device for children with severe communication difficulties

Assistive Technology - Electronic Textiles

Many electronic communication devices are large and cumbersome to carry around.  As a result, we would like to study the usefulness of a fabric-based communication device that is lighter and more portable.  The purpose of this study is to compare a fabric-based communication device with a paper-based system, to determine whether or not a fabric device could be useful alternative.
