What's Involved

Phase 1 Parents and Children/Youth:

We would like you to talk to a Research Assistant on our team. You would meet with the Research Assistant at Holland Bloorview. He/She will ask you questions to help us understand about times you were really involved at your Holland Bloorview appointments, and times when you were not at all involved at your Holland Bloorview appointments.   The interview would take about an hour. Participants will receive a small token of appreciation, a $25 gift card, to thank them for their time.

Phase 1 is now closed.

Phase 2 Parents and Children/Youth:

We would like to observe you and your clinician at one appointment at Holland Bloorview. Our Research Assistant would take notes during your appointment and would talk to you after your appointment. He/She would talk to you for about half an hour. He/She will ask you questions based on his/her notes so that we can understand what you thought about your appointment. If you give him/her permission, he/she would also videorecord your appointment so that he/she can make notes later. You can still be in the study if you do not want your appointment to be videorecorded. Participants will receive a small token of appreciation, a $25 gift card, to thank them for their time.

Please note that for Phase 2, we are also asking clinicians to help us recruit children/youth and parents.
