Summary

A child who is unable to control his arms or legs could potentially have access to a switch through tongue movements.  This study investigates the use of a neck sensor to identify movements of the tongue.  By collecting signals while a person is moves his or her tongue, coughs and swallows, this study aims to differentiate between the various movements, which would allow the development of a switch system based on tongue movements.
